- Overall Dimensions: 108" X 7" X 4"
- Activated Carbon: Excellent “polishing media”. Helps remove certain chemicals, hydrocarbons, and odors.
- Sorb 44: Used to remove oil and other hydrocarbons.
- Sediment Removal: Recycled rubber media provides weight, keeps unit in place, allows maximum water flow.
- Phos Filter: Excellent for removal of phosphorous.
- Heavy Metal Removal: Custom filter media helps remove zinc, lead, copper and other harmful, heavy metals.
- Use in front of storm drains, around downspouts, in gullies and ditches, or anywhere there is potential for harmful stormwater runoff.
- Woven polymer casing allows water to pass through quickly while filtration media inside removes pollutants.
- A high UV rating allows extended life in sun and elements.
- Available in 9-foot lengths. Units can be overlapped for longer coverage.
- Looped ends allow units to be staked in place and also assist in transport.
- Available with different types of media depending on which pollutant is present. (Multiple Ultra-Filter Socks can be used in a “treatment train” if the potential for more than one contaminant or a large quantity of a single contaminants is present.)

Ultratech® Drain Filter Socks stop harmful substances from entering the stormwater system! Catch basin protections under the drain are practical, useful, out of the way, and out of sight. However, there are times when above drain protection may be the better option. The Ultra-Filter Sock represents the ultimate in above drain protection. With the different filter media options available, this product is capable of removing many different types of pollutants. In fact, it is the only product with that versatility. The 9-foot long socks are placed in front of storm drains. The woven geotextile material allows water to flow through into the storm drain while the media inside of the unit removes pollutants.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can fill out the ORDER RETURN FORM HERE. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you the instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED, OR INCORRECT ITEMS SHIPPED
If you have received a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, do not worry! Please contact us by phone or the Contact Us Form within five (5) days of receiving the product, along with the invoice or packing slip, to schedule a return. We will replace these products at no additional cost. Please keep in mind that we may require photos for documentation and to authorize call tags for returns.
Because we put our customers’ experience first, any defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped products by CTAM, or by our manufacturers, will be re-shipped at our expense. We will also provide you with a return shipping label with detailed shipping instructions.
Please note that if the item is damaged as a result of the customer’s actions, then a return will not be approved, and the damaged items will be discarded. If the customer wants to keep the damaged items, they must first cover the shipping fees, after which the company will return the damaged items. After the five (5) day time has expired, CTAM will not be responsible for any defective, damaged, or incorrect items, regardless of who is at fault.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Certain Items will Carry restocking fees for us to take back into our stock, This is due to items being made to order or for being an oversized item.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Why would I use the Ultra-Filter Sock instead of one of your other stormwater management products?
The Ultra-Filter Sock has several distinct advantages that could prove to be a deciding factor in choosing it to protect your drain from incoming pollutants. (1) Ease of use and installation - with the Filter Sock, you simply lay it down in front of a drain or inlet. No hardware to install, no heavy grates to lift. (2) Versatility - the Filter Sock has multiple filtering media options available which enables it to remove pollutants that a lot of other stormwater products cannot remove. (3) Multiple media options - not only are there several media options available but you can use them together in a "treatment train" so you can filter out many different pollutants.
Why WOULDN'T I use the Ultra- Filter Sock instead of one of your other stormwater management products?
If a "clean" installation is a significant concern or the Filter Sock could pose a tripping threat to pedestrian traffic or an obstruction for street sweepers or other equipment, it may not be the ideal solution.
I have a 10' long curb inlet. How do I protect it?
Since the Ultra-Filter Socks are only available in one length (9'), you can simply use multiple units when more than nine feet is required. It is recommended that you overlap units to insure complete coverage/protection.
