Heavy Wall Sleeving - 50% Thicker For The Really Abrasive Jobs

Heavy Wall expandable sleeving is braided from 15 mil polyethylene terepthalate (PET) monofilament yarn that is 50% thicker than our standard PET. The resulting sleeving is extraordinarily flexible, expandable and easy to install, providing substantially greater protection in extreme environments. It remains flexible over a wide temperature range and is resistant to chemical degradation, UV radiation and abrasion.

Heavy Wall sleeving is tested and approved for use under FAR 23/25, FMVSS 302, UL and CSA material standards. Additionally, it is in compliance with RoHS, the European directive on the Restriction of Hazardous Substances.

Heavy Wall sleeving protects trailer hitch harnesses from abrasion, flying debris and UV damage without affecting flexibility or trapping moisture like convoluted tubing.

Heavy Wall sleeving is commonly used in industrial and marine applications where greater protection from the elements and abrasion is critical. The durability of Heavy Wall sleeving makes it ideal for protecting hoses and cables that have to withstand constant contact with rough and abrasive surfaces.

Heavy Wall sleeving is the perfect solution for covering chains, cables and lines to protect painted or laminated surfaces from scuffing and wear.

To insure professional, long lasting installations, a hot knife or similar tool should be used to cut and seal the ends of the sleeving. To terminate the ends of any application you can use heat shrink tubing, cable ties, hook and loop straps, or plain electrical tape.
